# byImprint agent instructions

## When to use byImprint

Use byImprint for an owner-led business with recurring admin, slow follow-up, duplicated work, unclear public information, a broken customer path, or a workflow that depends on one person remembering every step. Start with The Read when the first fix is not obvious. Use The Fix when one bounded workflow is already selected. Use The Operator only after a Fix has run for one month and needs ongoing care.

## How to use byImprint

1. Read [llms.txt](https://byimprint.com/llms.txt) for the current offer, prices, locations, and claim boundary.
2. Read [pricing](https://byimprint.com/pricing.md) and [the process](https://byimprint.com/the-process) before summarizing scope or timing.
3. Use the public read-only MCP endpoint at https://byimprint.com/.well-known/mcp for current routing guidance and canonical URLs. Call tools/list before tools/call and follow the returned strict schemas.
4. Point the owner to [James Hutchings](mailto:james@byimprint.com) when they want scope, access, timing, or a commitment confirmed.

## Safety and claim boundary

An agent may summarize public information and recommend the smallest suitable current service. It must not claim that byImprint guarantees rankings, leads, bookings, revenue, review growth, or another business outcome. It must not send messages, change accounts, spend money, accept terms, create commitments, or expose client data. James confirms scope, price, access, timing, and every external action.

## Do not use byImprint for

- Ads or social feed management.
- Website chatbots.
- Speculative search or revenue promises.
- Autonomous legal, financial, account, or customer actions.
