Doggy Tales · Visibility Fix Sprint

Implementation packet

The point of this sprint is to cut the time you spend explaining services and filtering inquiries that are not a fit. What you approved May 20, now in paste-ready shape. Approve or flag changes per section. Within three days I send one document with every approved block ready to paste; the live edits are on you.

Timeline

What happens, in what order

  1. Day 0

    Today, you submit

You review this packet, approve each asset, lock the open questions, and hit submit. The drafting work is already done; this is the gate.

  2. Day 1 to 3

On me, your changes plus one paste-ready doc

I redraft any asset you flagged, then send back one document with every approved block in the order you paste them. If you greenlit everything as-is, this is a same-day handoff.

  3. Day 3 to 15

    On you, the pasting

You paste the approved GBP and website copy on your own time (or I do it with limited access if that is what you picked in Section C). I am on-call for questions, not actively touching anything unless you say so.

  4. Day 15 to 30

Wait period, nothing for either of us to do

Google sees the changes and updates how Doggy Tales shows up in search and Maps. No action needed. If you said yes to the Gmail scan, I run that quietly in the background here.

  5. Day 45

    On me, before-and-after report

I re-pull the same Search Console queries and the 9-area Maps grid, then send a side-by-side of what changed. Includes a recommendation on whether the next sprint should focus on reviews, inquiry templates, or just holding here.

GBP public Q&A draft

Add these five Q&A pairs to the public Q&A section of your GBP. Buyers see them before they call.

  1. 01Q: Do you offer dog walking in both Whistler and Pemberton? A: Yes. Doggy Tales serves Whistler and Pemberton, with walks and care options depending on service type, availability, and dog fit.
  2. 02Q: How many dogs are in each group walk? A: Small Pack Group Walks are limited by handler capacity and dog fit. We publicly state a maximum of 6 dogs per walker and carefully match dogs by size, energy, temperament, and safety needs.
  3. 03Q: What is the difference between a group walk and a private adventure walk? A: Group walks are small-pack trail adventures for dogs who fit a matched group. Private adventure walks are one-on-one trail time for dogs who need dedicated attention, a calmer pace, or a more tailored session.
  4. 04Q: Do you offer care for visitors staying in Whistler? A: Yes. Pet sitting, sleepovers, and some walk options may fit visitors depending on timing, availability, dog needs, and location. The first step is to send an inquiry with dates, location, and dog details.
  5. 05Q: Can Doggy Tales help with weddings or events? A: Yes. We offer Wedding Day Dog Concierge support for couples who want their dog included in the ceremony, photos, and wedding day without asking a guest to handle the dog.

Asset A5

Photo and proof checklist

  3. 03Wedding day concierge (dog at a ceremony or photo session)

  5. 05Branded vehicle or transport setup (proof of logistics)
  6. 06Insurance / certification document thumbnail (visible without revealing private details)

Section B . Track 2

Website assets

Five blocks for doggytales.ca. Same pattern as Track 1. Asset B5 (First-inquiry guidance) sits next to your existing Book Now form to pre-filter inquiries.

Asset B1

Service chooser block

Drop this block on the homepage near the existing service cards, or on the dog-walks page above the service list. It maps buyer situations to your priority services so people self-select before they inquire.

  1. 01My dog needs regular exercise and social trail time -> Small Pack Group Walk
  2. 02My dog needs individual attention -> Private Adventure Walk
  3. 03I want my dog at my wedding -> Wedding Day Dog Concierge
  4. 04I need overnight care -> Dog Sleepover
  5. 05I need help while I am on the mountain or away for the day -> Pet Sitting Visit

Asset B2

Homepage and dog-walks intro copy

Replace the existing intro paragraph on the homepage hero or above the service grid. Same paragraph can lead the dog-walks page.

  1. 01Doggy Tales helps Whistler and Pemberton dogs get safe, structured care on the trail, at home, and during important days. Choose small-pack group walks for recurring exercise, private adventures for one-on-one support, pet sitting for day plans, sleepovers for overnight care, or wedding concierge support when your dog is part of the event.

Asset B3

Premium service wedge copy

Five blocks of copy to drop into the matching service detail sections. They name fit, not features.

  1. 01Private Adventure Walk: For dogs who need the trail without the pack. Useful for puppies, seniors, reactive dogs, dogs still building recall, and dogs who do better with one handler's full attention.
  2. 02Visitor / Ski-Day Care: Visiting Whistler with your dog? Pet sitting visits can cover feeding, play, enrichment, medication support when approved, and photo/video updates while you are on the mountain or away for the day.
  3. 03Dog Sleepovers: Sleepovers give your dog home-style overnight care with routine support, evening care, morning adventure time, feeding, and owner updates. Better fit for dogs who need more than a quick visit.
  4. 04Wedding Day Dog Concierge: Helps your dog be part of the ceremony, photos, and day without making a friend or family member responsible for dog handling, transport, water breaks, and timing.
  5. 05Safety and Fit: Whistler trail care is not just a walk. We use small packs, fit checks, safety equipment, and positive-reinforcement handling so the service matches the dog, the weather, the trail, and the group.

Asset B4

FAQ additions

Add these five Q&A pairs to your existing FAQ page. They cover the questions buyers most often answer privately by email.

  1. 01Q: Which service should I choose first? A: If your dog is social and suited to group trail time, start with Small Pack Group Walks. If your dog needs individual attention, start with a Private Adventure Walk. If you need help during travel, ski days, evenings, or events, Pet Sitting, Sleepovers, or Wedding Day Dog Concierge may fit better. Send an inquiry and we will confirm the right path.
  2. 02Q: Can you help if my dog is anxious, reactive, young, or senior? A: Possibly. Some dogs are better suited to private adventure walks or a slower introduction before group walks. Tell us about your dog's behavior, routine, triggers, and care needs in the inquiry so we can assess fit.
  3. 03Q: What should I include in my first inquiry? A: Include your dog's name, age, breed/size, care dates, location, service you are considering, behavior notes, medical needs, and whether your dog has walked with a group before.
  4. 04Q: Do you offer visitor care for Whistler trips? A: Yes, depending on availability and dog fit. Visitors should send dates, accommodation area, service need, and dog details as early as possible.
  5. 05Q: How far ahead should wedding couples inquire? A: Wedding support depends on date, venue, dog needs, and handler availability. Couples should inquire as early as possible with the wedding date, venue, package interest, and dog details.

Asset B5

First-inquiry guidance

A short instruction block to add next to the Book Now / inquiry form. It pre-filters the inquiries that arrive so you spend less time asking for the same info back. Echoes the pre-booking questions you sent on May 20.

  1. 01Your dog's name, age, breed, and approximate size.
  2. 02Care dates (or recurring schedule) and pickup/drop-off location.
  3. 03Which service you are considering (Small Pack Walk, Private Adventure, Sleepover, Pet Sitting, Wedding).
  4. 04Behavior notes: anxious, reactive, recall, prior group experience, medical needs.
  5. 05How you heard about us (helps us know what is working).

Search Console baseline and priority watchlist

Two readings here. The Maps grid shows how often Doggy Tales appears on the Whistler map at all. The Search Console table shows how the site ranks on organic search where it does appear. Both feed the priority watchlist below.

Section E

Gmail scan permission

Your customer questions are the next sprint signal. You already sent the May 20 top pre-booking questions list, which I will use directly. The optional scan below is for a fuller pattern read (which questions repeat, which answers you reuse) so the next changes are informed by real demand. I do not store your emails; I extract themes and discard the source. You set the scope.
