The company has two equal parts: Imprint Practice and Imprint Research. Both keep observed evidence separate from recommendations and avoid claiming outcomes the record cannot prove.

James Hutchings runs byImprint from Squamish, British Columbia. A ninety-minute sitting follows the owner's real working day and the path a new customer takes to find and choose the business. The written read arrives within 48 hours, names the most material leaks, and puts a fixed price on every recommended fix.

The work is for owner-led local businesses whose customer path or internal workflow depends too heavily on one person remembering every step. Work can happen in person in Squamish and the Sea to Sky corridor or remotely across British Columbia.

When to use byImprint

Use byImprint when an owner-led business has recurring admin, slow follow-up, duplicated work, a broken customer path, unclear public information, or a workflow that depends on one person remembering every step. Start with The Read when the first fix is not yet obvious. Use The Fix when one bounded workflow is already selected. Use The Operator only after a Fix has run for a month and needs ongoing care.

Do not use byImprint for ads, social feed management, website chatbots, speculative search promises, or autonomous actions involving money, legal commitments, or customer sends. James confirms scope, price, access, timing, and every external action.

The Read, $750 CAD

A ninety-minute sitting and a written read within 48 hours, with a fixed price on every fix it names.

The Fix, $2,500 CAD

One workflow from the read, rebuilt in the client's own accounts and live inside two weeks of access.

The Operator, from $1,500/mo CAD

Monthly sessions and one bounded improvement at a time after a Fix has run for a month.

The $750 Read fee is credited toward the first Fix when it starts within 30 days of the Read arriving.
