Websites that make the next step clear.

A visitor should be able to understand what you do, see enough to trust you and take the next step. I help small businesses make that journey clearer, from the page they find to the enquiry you receive.

Talk about your website

Begin with what a customer needs.

What do you offer? Where do you work? Who is it for? What happens after someone gets in touch? Those questions shape the pages before visual polish or a longer list of features.

Sometimes the useful change is a service page, a clearer contact route or a repair to an existing site. Sometimes the content and structure need a rebuild. We inspect the current site and agree the smallest scope that can do the job properly.

Work you can inspect.

For Alejandro Connor Photography, I helped turn a strong portfolio into a clearer service and enquiry journey. We clarified his solo approach and small-wedding focus, added answers to common questions and aligned business details. Alejandro made his own image improvements. The case shows the changes and what was rechecked, without claiming booking or revenue growth.

Eightfold Creative’s website had strong studio work that was difficult to find. I gave Brent a prioritised plan for the story, pages, proof and enquiry path; he made the changes. The published case records the pages verified live and says which outcomes were not measured.

Peace By Pins is a related example of improving a public business listing. I identified missing information and prepared review replies; Robin put the changes live in her own words. This was unpaid work for a friend, with no measured search or patient outcomes.

A complete customer journey.

The scope can include service content, navigation, phone layouts, accessible controls, page titles, search eligibility and the route from enquiry to the person who replies. We test what a visitor can actually do and agree what counts as a successful handover.

For an existing site, working URLs and useful content matter. Redirects, search settings and connected forms need deliberate treatment. A new visual design is not a reason to lose a page customers already use.

Understand what you own.

Before building, we agree who controls the domain, hosting, website accounts, content and any paid tools. Handover includes the access and instructions relevant to your scope. Ongoing work is agreed separately so you know who will maintain what.

Focused improvements start at CA$2,500. A complete website or a more involved system receives its own quote. Content preparation, photography, migration and connected tools change the scope; the starting price is not a promise of a full website for that amount.

Bring the current site and the difficulty.

Send the website address and one thing that is not working as you would like: people ask the same question, cannot find a service, abandon a booking step, or reach out without enough information. That gives us a useful place to start.

I’m based in Squamish and work remotely with businesses across British Columbia. In-person working arrangements can be discussed when they would help.
