Map one task from beginning to end.
Choose a task small enough to follow through a real example. Fill in the worksheet, then use the map to decide what to clarify, simplify or test. Your entries stay in this browser tab; byImprint does not receive them.
Choose a clear boundary.
For example: an enquiry arrives, the owner checks the missing details, and the next action is recorded. “Run the business better” is too broad to map usefully.
The example below is illustrative. Use your own task and remove personal or confidential information before copying the map anywhere else.

Look for a missing owner, repeated copying, unclear decisions or an exception with no next step. Fix those definitions before deciding which part to automate.
Test with one ordinary example and one awkward example. Check the actual result at the end of the task, not just whether a notification appeared.
